Camping World Holdings, Inc.

Siverd v. Camping World Holdings, Inc. et al., No. 1:26-cv-02710 (N.D. Ill.)

Stock ticker:
CWH

Shares of Camping World fell more than 20% on February 25, 2026, after the company announced it is pausing its quarterly cash dividend effective immediately. The company said the move is intended to preserve capital allocation flexibility and cited reduced forecasted tax distributions following recent tax law changes. Management also pointed to the need to prioritize debt reduction and balance sheet strength.

The suit alleges that Camping World overstated their ability to effectively manage inventory using data analytics, exaggerated consumer retail demand, and downplayed the need for strict corrective measures that would hurt gross margins, while also having inadequate systems for accurate financial disclosures.  These issues came to light through disappointing earnings reports in late 2025 and early 2026, including significant revenue declines, widened losses, gross margin compression, and the immediate pause of the quarterly dividend, causing sharp drops in the stock price and investor losses.
