Stock ticker:

Block & Leviton represents direct purchasers in this nationwide class action alleging that pork producers conspired to artificially reduce the supply of pork for sale in the United States to increase prices. The suit alleges that the defendants, who include companies such as Tyson Foods, Hormel Foods, and Smithfield Foods, among others, coordinated their supply restrictions by sharing confidential production Information with one another through Agri Stats, an industry data analyst. The court has granted preliminary approval of a $24.5 million settlement with Defendant JBS.  In November 2020, the Court denied the majority of the remaining defendants' motion to dismiss.  The parties are engaged in discovery.
